There are a variety of men’s boots, some just cover the foot and the ankle, some boots extend up to the knees and there are some that extend even upwards. Traditional boots are mainly made of rubber or leather but the modern boots are made from a wide variety of materials. In most boots the heel can be clearly distinguished from the rest of the sole. Boots can be worn for fashion or for the function that they serve. They protect your feet from dust, snow, and water. Boots also provide additional support to ankles and so can be used while doing strenuous activities.

Different men’s boots serve different purposes. Boots that are designed to walk through snow, mud, water or dirt are made out of a single piece of material and are closely stitched. Waterproof gumboots come in different lengths; there are some that extend up to the hip and help you wade in hip deep water. Work boots are specially made to provide protection to workers and may have steel toe caps to protect against injuries. For different types of sports special boots have been designed for riding, snowboarding, skiing, ice skating and several other sports that are performed in wet conditions. Boots are mostly slip-ons, sipper ones or lace ups. In cold regions especially where it snows boots are an utmost necessity. A mountain trekker requires a pair of solid boots to climb up those stiff mountains. These boots also have additional insulation which provides protection against low temperature.

Men’s boots are mainly made of leather, pseudo leather, rubber, tough cloth and similar materials that can take heavy usage. Boots are a favourite with different people, like army men, steel workers, cowboys and others. At the same time trendsetters and celebrities also love boots as they are highly fashionable and also comfortable to wear. Boots come in different forms like Chap boots, Hip boots and many others. Hip boots are colloquially called waders; these boots were initially designed for fisher men to protect them from water. These rubber boots completely cover the legs and reach up to the tops of the thighs or hips. By wearing these boots fisher men can wade out into deep waters in the hope of catching bigger fish. Ecologists or environmentalists wear such boots when they carry out tests in lakes or swamps to determine the water quality. Tall boots that cover the entire leg up to the crotch and have straps coming up from far sides are called Chap boots. These mens boots are a staple in the wardrobe of a boot fetish person.

There are also different styles of boots like dress boots, cowboy boots, Chelsea boots and such others. Ankle- high, tight fitting boots that originated during the Victorian era are called Chelsea boots. The most important feature of these boots is its elastic sidings. Short leather boots worn by men are Dress boots. Typical types of riding shoes are called Cowboy boots. These boots are made from cowhide leather and have high heels.

The boy next door let me wear his uggs. So when did boys start wearing them?

Ok, so Im forced to move with my mom and dad from sunny florida to the tundra up north called Buffalo. Well not exactly Buffalo but in the burbs. So this morning its like 12 degrees and 4 inches of snow on the ground and im standing at the bus stop in skinny jeans, flat (barefoot) and a hoodie. The boy who lives at the house where the bus stop is called me to his door and asked if I had boots, duh if I did they’d be on my feet. He asked my size (a 9) and handed me a pair of classic tall chestnut Uggs in a mens size 8. I tried them on (a little big) so he gave me a pair of socks. They fit fine then.He told me he just got them and asked me to take care of them till I bought boots. He had on the classic short Uggs in chestnut too. You could barely tell because his jeans went over them.Oh well Im getting to my questions. So, since when did boys start wearing Uggs? Do boys anywhere else wear them? Oh one more thing, he’s like the hottest boy in 9th grade and his girlfriend is the really pretty so you cant say he’s gay or anything like that. Oh and he’s not the only boy in the school either. I saw alot of guys wearing them like more then 20 today. Also I really didn’t plan on buying Uggs for my winter boots but all the girls wear them and they are warm and comfy. Should I get a pair to fit in?

Answer
Yuch. I’d rather boys just went barefoot. Then again UGGS are ugly on anybody.
